Wave Girls 16AAA headed to Nationals

The California Wave 16AAA Girls team is headed to Nationals in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The tournament takes place March 31st to April 4th.

The bid to Nationals was earned after a very successful Pacific District Tournament in Anchorage, Alaska back in early March. Led by head coach Jenna Caban, the Wave 16AAA girls went 3-0, allowing just 3 total goals against versus competition that included the Lady Ducks, Jr. Sharks, and Jr. Admirals.

The girls are coming off a successful 2015-16 campaign that included tournaments wins at the Lady Ducks Fall Classic and Jr. Sharks MLK Invitational as well as a top-seed finish at the Boston Jr. Shamrocks Showcase.  They will be looking to carry this momentum with them to Nationals.
